Admissions & Enrollment

Admission

  • The official application form which is attached with the prospectus must be completed and submitted in the school office for registration. However registration will not guarantee in getting a seat reserved.

  •  Admissions, where vacancies exist, are made on the basis of an entrance examination. Those children who are registered will be notified of the date of the examination. The Principal reserves the right to admit a child into the class that the child is found fit for, after examining the child. Registration may be closed at any time at the discretion of the Principal. Even after a child is selected the admission will be confirmed only after the fees is paid within the stipulated time and acknowledged.

  • For a child who is attending this school for the first time, a Transfer Certificate from the previous school must be furnished before joining school. Since no change can be made in the age once this is entered in the Admission Register a Certified copy of the birth certificate is also to be submitted.

  • The date of birth once entered in the Admission Register will not be altered under any circumstances, On withdrawal, a transfer certificate will be issued, if due notice has been given and all fees have been paid according to the school rules.

  • The Principal reserves the right to admit or reject any application for admission without assigning any reason.

  • Admission to Nav Jeevan Mission School is a privilege and not a right.

  • Recommendations for admission from any source will disqualify a prospective candidate. Parents are, therefore, advised to approach the principal's office personally for admission and not through any other person.

School Year

The school academic year, during which children attend classes, extends normally from April to March.

Payment of fees

  • The total fees for the year should be paid on monthly basis. Monthly instalment should be paid before the 10th of every month. A fine of Rs. 5/- per day will be imposed on late payment.

  • If the arrears exceed for more than two months the child's name will be struck off from the school register.

  • Full year’s school fees will be charged even if the student joins/quits in the middle of the school session.

  • A student will not be allowed to appear for examination unless all dues are paid.

  • A receipt signed and dated should be obtained from the office for every cash payment, this receipt must be produced in case of any dispute regarding payment.

  • The school will not be responsible for money send through children.

  •  School fees and transport fees should be paid for 12 months.

  •  Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

  • No reduction is made in fees for occasional absence during the year as a result of sickness or any other cause.

  • Cost of replacement will be charged for breakages, damages and losses.

  • The fees payable are subject to change. Parents will, however, be informed of any change in fees.
